Regional Express Virtual is offering selected applicants a place in the RexV Pilot Cadet Scheme which plans to train up to 40 pilots per year under the following conditions:
- All suitable applicants will undergo special selection procedures to qualify as a RexV Cadet. Assistance will be provided with flying training and employment within the Rex Virtual Group will be available upon satisfactory completion of the training.
- Cadets will start off flying at Jandakot for SPL and PPL training and then progress to Mangalore Airport for their CPL and Saab340 training.
· Selected cadets will be given one-on-one training on selected nights or days for three months or till competent whichever is longer.
· Selected cadets will have a min of five hours flying on VATSIM with a max of one hundred and fifty (150) to even out the scheme.
· Each cadet is listed for a contract for a min of six months including three months of training where after training maybe asked to join the team as First Officer until the six months are up then may automatically be granted a Captain role within the Rex Virtual group.
· On Completion of your six months contract each cadet will be given their qualifications on a certificate approved by Rex Virtual and its partners. This certificate can be used to show any Australian VA that you have been approved at this level of CPL with a MECIR. ATPL subjects are not part of the initial training.
· If the cadet leaves before the end of the contract though passes the training that cadet will not be granted the level of completion. If the cadet chooses to leave after the six months contract he/she will be granted completed with the certificate approved by the Chief Operation Officer and the Manager of Training and Flight Airmanship.
· All cadets must abide by Rex Virtual code of conduct and Flight Crew Position Description and are also to maintain at least three flights per month on top of your training and study unable to do this without notice to your training officer and FOM failure will be imitate.
